hearing impaired seeking work in WA

My sister in law lives in washington and needs work. she has several barriers to employment being both deaf and a recent immigrant from south korea. she is a single mom of two young boys (ugh don't get me started on my jack&*$ brother) and is drifting from friends house to freinds house. She is being helped through the various appropriate agencies already but isn't having any luck in the job department. (my bro is lin korea somwhere and not paying any child support) I have seen her in action in a large over grown garden plowing through it and weeding in record time and she is an excellent cook imo. I know that she has also worked making kim chee and as from my understanding a waitress in an all deaf establishment in korea.

because of her particular difficulties it is especially slow going sifting through ads and quite discouraging and difficult for her to just call and check up on them. If you have a job opening available that she could do, or even better work in partial exchange for housing please drop me a note. she quite understandably wants to stay in the area as there is an established deaf korean community. I thought that some permies might know of some less traditional jobs that she may not find through the normal ads and agencies.      thanks for looking ---leah

she is in the seattle area but moves around alot. my dad keeps in touch through fax, email, and texting more than I so I send ideas to him and he gets them to her. my brother (her ex) once told me that people with issues like her are not well accepted in the culture and I am sure that some of that bleeds into the culture of the immigrants here in the states and that might be making it even more difficult (as if she needs any more hardship)

I will definitly see if she is in touch with that association! thank you thank you thank you! she needs as many people on her side as she can get. 

Another thought...

Does she have good bi-lingual skills, reading and writing?  In Seattle, could there be something in written language translation that wouldn't involve hearing?

I don't really know what I'm talking about here...
