Hey guys I just got back from my Homestead to be down near Ava Mo. and we went to the Bakers Creek spring planting festible and boy was it a good time. I got to see and visit with Off Grid with Doug and Stacey, We got to see Living Traditions Homestead, Kevin and Sarah and talk with them. Lots of Youtubers were there also. They have an amazing seed selection and lots of garden plants, trade goods, soaps, home remedies, good food and entertainment, lots of country, bluegrass, hillbilly and folk music.

If you have never been there I suggest you go at least one time. Here is a sample of what you might see, oh, and watch out for that Barney Fife caractor (Terry Wayne Sanders)

Thanks for sharing that.  We wanted to go but had some family commitments that prevented it.  We are going to have to go visit there some weekend.

We went to a couple of their earlier festivals years ago and had a booth ourselves one year (weaving and woodworking) and camped in the field.
Lots of fun.
It's a really lovely area...we took some walks along the back road and creek in the early mornings.

The last time we went I bought too many plants from the vendors there of course

This has me wanting to go up for a visit even if we missed the festival this year.

He loves you so much! And I'm baking the cake! I'm going to put this tiny ad in the cake:
