I was thinking about splitting the "organic" forum into "organic gardening" and "sustainable living". Perhaps that would bring you 90% satisfaction?

Er...

No - not really.

Compost.

It's autumn, and there's nothing growing except the winter green manure crops.

It's time to reflect on the year that has passed, and prepare for the year ahead.
The year that's gone was a bit shite. There's only one thing that can save us in the year ahead -
Loads of compost.
My world is one of bags of coffee grounds, leaves and slightly off vegetables. I dream of steaming heaps.

Compost - there's nothing else.

I just did a search of the word "compost", assuming that I would have hundreds of threads to refer Andy to. Instead that search word most often leads to arguments over deleted threads and explanations of what happens to rejected material.

I wonder if it's possible to refer to rejected material as "the compost heap" or "the reject pile." The three words could be linked for search purposes so that anyone looking for actual compost would find that thread more easily. I say all of this as a computer novice who doesn't actually know how to accomplish any of it.
