Health department officials recently conducted a raid of Quail Hollow Farm, an organic community supported agriculture (CSA) farm in southern Nevada, during its special "farm to fork" picnic dinner put on for guests -- and the agent who arrived on the scene ordered that all the fresh, local produce and pasture-based meat that was intended for the meal be destroyed with bleach.

Unaware of their rights, the Bledsoes initially complied with Oaks' unlawful demands and destroyed the food. But shortly thereafter, Laura's husband Monte remembered that they had an emergency contact number for the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF) on their refrigerator.

here's photos and video of the raid: http://www.reallyvegasphoto.com/Events/CSA-Farm-Government-Inspection/19707296_v2zFML#1546725033_K6n5zv7

and a link to FTCLDF, who i'm sure could use your support: http://www.farmtoconsumer.org/

This bothered me immensely because the folks just assumed the person had authority which the person did not have. If someone comes onto your land without permission, they are trespassing. If they do not have a warrant, call the cops/sheriff. And/or legal counsel.

Question "authority" - don't assume it. Give some people an inch and they think they're a ruler.
