We found a ton of these creepy crawlies underneath some rocks that border our garden. Something suggests harmful to me. They’re maybe 3/4” long, and they just..... squirm.
Sorry for the poor picture, but it was the best I was able to capture. My first thought was army worm, based on the clustering and stripe.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks,
Daniel

Clay, shade, neighbor’s Norway maples.....we’ll work it out.
European crane fly larvae i think, lucky you! They eat these useless lawns and become flying birdfood when they're done. Bird droppings feed your soil. Excellent news you have these!
