Coming out tomorrow is the film How to Save the Planet - 2040 by Damon Gameau. It is about a letter he writes to his daughter on she will see the World in 2040, providing we do something now. He realised, after talking to a psychologist, that the constant doom and gloom eco messages cause our frontal cortex to shut down and activates the limbic system and we fail to register the problems being presented to us. So he wanted his film to send positive messages to educate people on what can, actually, be done by us all, and what is already being achieved, to save this fragile planet.
The film is being shown in Australia so any permies down under - please support and feed back!
