Let me know if this drivel is totally meaningless or if it has at least a little merit.

The Weeds

We are the weeds.
We are the future
We are Feral Farmers,
Wild gardeners and
When we “blitz” an area
We leave behind swales, hugels,
Seed balls and newly planted trees.
Yes, we see problems, so many problems
But in the problems, we see the answers
For there is no waste, only product waiting to be used!
We care for the Earth, the People and
We Share the excess of our harvest.
For we are the weeds
We are the future
Come! Join us in the shade of our fig tree,
And share the fruit of our vines!

So. Whadaya think? Okay or am I, like, WAY out of line?

I'd say there is some merit there. It took my mind back to the T-shirt designs and put a smile on my face.

I'm no judge of such things, but I'm gonna echo Lolly's post - it brought a smile to my face on a day I thought I'd be silently weeping all day, and made me wonder if it could be added to the back of the tshirt.

You want me to move it to the art, music and aesthetics board? I think it deserves to be there!

Thank you, Lolly and Burra! If you deem it worthy, so be it!
Thanks again.

Lolly, I thought perhaps I should own up to being inspired by the winning t-shirt! Also I seem to remember somewhere in the forums or on one of the video's someone (Lawton perhaps?) actually said "We are the weeds." Or was it fearless leader Paul?
Anyway as such things go with me I heard stuff here and there, saw this and that over yonder, it composted a while in the depths of my brain and poof! that poem popped up one night as I was getting ready for bed. Had to write it down so I could get to sleep. Still seemed okay a day or so later so I prettied it up a bit and posted it for your kind judgment.
Thank you.

I think they should change the spelling to Sandy Eggo. This tiny ad agrees with me.
