Hm, per Paul's offline comment, I think the only place where I mentioned "bacterio sapien"  is after hearing that term in the Farmageddon documentary (and here is the podcast review link).

I know we've talked about using salt only on butcher blocks, or to clean some things to discourage bad bacteria and encourage good bacteria, though not a specific thread that I could find. Just a mention here or there buried in other information.
