Today I learned a new phrase: mindful photography.

Mindful photography  is a practice of photography where the camera becomes an extension of your mind, you don't have to stop and think and worry and analyse - you let your subconscious take over for once, and let it do its thing.

Photography encourages mindfulness is by heightening our awareness of seeing. (from The art of mindful photography)

Mindful photography sounds like a lot of fun.  I'm going to try it.

I like that term too. Years ago I was into photography and go for early morning walks out on my farm and just take "Mindful Photos". Every once and awhile, a picture would come out shockingly well for a dumb sheep farmer holding a camera (me). I always thought about turning thisone into a puzzle.

Do the next thing next. That's a pretty good rule. Read the tiny ad, that's a pretty good rule, too.
