i'm open to suggestions, my first ever wild chestnut harvest. found a tree asked the landowner if i could pick up some of them there nuts. they did't care anything about them. "just another stupid tree that makes a mess every year"

Put your chestnuts in the fridge pretty quick.  If not you’ll get overrun with the chestnut grubs hAtching out

Keep them moist too

i separated the nuts with holes in them, i even caught some worms crawling out. rinsed them all and they are drying in sun.
i guess i'll roast the good ones, after planting a few and then roast the holy ones and give them to my religous friends.
