It's inconceivable that the government doesn't know these people exist, when I have known since childhood that people occupy just about every habitable place on earth. Therefore, I don't see that proof of existence will force their hand in some way.
Nothing against the good doctor or the cause. I've noticed in many documentary shows that there is little mentioned about future
plans to integrate tribal peoples into the greater society. To me it is inevitable that one day these people will need to adapt in order to survive. And It's quite likely that their young people will want to explore beyond tribal boarders. Sometimes I see researchers advocating for isolation as though they're operating some sort of anthropological zoo. The tribes
should be allowed to choose their own future even if that means cell phones and motor boats.
