Hi.
I live in (at the moment) darkest wet south west Wales UK.
We live in a cabin with warmth from our log burner, but it does get cold, so keeping bread dough warm enough to prove is 'proving' difficult. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Any tips or recipes for an easy, quick to make bread?
I love sourdough,  but would also love to try making soda bread, as that could get around our 'chilly' problem.
Thanks in advance. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hi Annie!

I think you might like soda bread-- it's a bit of a different texture than yeast breads, but still satisfying (and quick!)

Another option to look into would be no-knead breads (aka "bucket breads
')-- I have a particular recipe in my cookbook that doesn't really require especially warm rising temperatures-- it's quick, versatile, and extremely delicious.

That sounds great. I'll have a go at 'bucket' bread.
Hopefully I'll be one of the lucky winners of your book and get that soda bread recipe! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Good heavens! What have you done! Here, try to fix it with this tiny ad:
