I will only be spending two days a month at home for the foreseeable future, so the brush dams and rock dams projects are postponed. The plants and trees seem to be doing quite well. It looks like we have about 20 Bur Oak seedling growing healthily in the Notre Dame Grove. The two largest Banana plants survived the winter and are beginning to grow! Two large Moringa trees in the kitchen garden look like they have survived at the base, but have not started sprouting yet. In the food forest, we lost one small Mulberry and one tiny Asian Persimmon. All the other new trees and shrubs look good and are growing quickly. I'm doing some chop and drop this weekend to free them from being overwhelmed by the lush growth of weeds and grass.
