I am TRYING to downsize.  Books are my passion.  I've disposed of almost 1,000 in the last several years and they are still piling up on the floors.

Too few people are appreciators anymore.  Even the used bookstores are hesitant to buy.  Well, there is Half Price Books, but their offers are insulting.

I'll let this lovely set go for what I paid for them - $9.50, plus shipping.  They are heavy, but qualify for media rate.

copyright MCMLXV.  Good solid books in nearly pristine condition, The Grimm spine has some water staining.  The box is a bit rough.

The illustrators are Fritz Kreidel for the Grimm volume and  Arthur Szyk for the Anderson.  I can count plates if yo want and post some examples.  Szyk has a distinctive oriental flair.
