There seems to be a few weirdnesses with the wiki pages that we are having trouble with.  It seems to be a cosmetic issue but when we go to reproduce the problems, they vanish.

What is a wiki page on permies?  Here's an example:  https://permies.com/wiki/34193/permies-works-links-threads

A wiki page is one where the first post can be edited by multiple authors.  In that example, only staff can edit.  Here, I made one that you can play with - https://permies.com/wiki/133590/Playing-wiki

If you see any wiki weirdness, please report it in this thread and let us know

1. what view are you using?  Mobile or regular?
2. What operating system are you using?
3. What browser are you using?

What was the weirdness?  What did you expect to happen instead?  Why did you find it weird?

You can tell a thread is a wiki thread because it has this image next to it:

Here is a forum with lots of wiki threads that might help us hunt the bugs https://permies.com/f/178/

Seems like when I post in a thread ordinarily, I automatically get an email notification because I have that setting checked in my profile.

So, when I posted in playing with wiki and then two people posted, one an edit and two more posts that were 'comments', I did not receive an email notification.  Maybe I'm misremembering but I thought we got them for comments on a wiki if not the edit itself? and automatically if that box was checked in our profile, even if we did not check the boxes at the post in question itself?

Here's a weirdness.  I don't know if it's wiki-related, but reporting it here as I got it in the playing with wiki thread https://permies.com/wiki/133590/

edit to add - I didn't get it in this thread when I posted.
