I made this video today in regards to staving off the influenza working it's way across the globe. Please if there is anything you can add to this, I'd greatly appreciate any extra advice. Thank you!

Hi D.,

I love the picture. It looks like my shelves. I just can't make out what anything is.

I would love to respond.

Would you be willing to make a list of all the names of your herbal friends?

Thank you.

Eta - duh. Totally missed the link was a youtube. Watching now.

You really want to benefit people.

Some thoughts . . . .

Echinacea should not be taken all the time. Spike it. 5 days on 2 days off. Or three weeks on, one week off otherwise it actually depresses the immune system.

Magnesium is a necessity for hundreds of functions in the body, men and women. Great stuff.

Vit C is water soluble. It cannot build up in the body. If you take beyond 'bowel tolerance' you'll get the runs. Cut back by 1/2 teaspoonful. That is your dosage. Could change daily.

Vit d3 was not on your list. Great for immune function.

Be careful with tumeric, where it is sourced from, could be irradiated in its country of origin, or once it arrives here because of where it came from.

I am a big fan of adaptogens, schizandra, astragalus et. al.

And love reishi, lions mane, cordyceps and I think you mentioned another mushroom, (usnea?) I forget which one. So many benefits they all haven't been discovered yet.

Don't take the goldenseal for more than a week or so at a time, it ceases to be of benefit.

Fire cider, I use it in my salad dressing. Lots of recipes online for Fire Cider or Fire Tonic. Yum!

One of my favorites is andrograpis, in a product called Kold Kare. Great stuff.

If I may make a suggestion? I imagine someone new to all this would find it helpful if you mentioned similar things together, like the lemon balm and skullcap. Or oregano, tea tree and thyme as they are essential oils and have similar properties.

Nice compilation of herbs, supplements and tonics.

Do you know the books Herbal Antibiotics and Herbal AntiVirals by Buhner?

I have picked up a few more things since making this video. I will try to list the others tomorrow. Thank you for your interest
Staff note (Carla Burke) :

Just a note: While videos are fantastic for some, not everyone will watch videos. Many are concerned about possible security issues, or may not have the time, memory or data available, others simply feel they can comprehend and/or retain the information better, in reading, rather than watching. I hope this helps!🙂
