Lights in goat barn

I am wondering if having a small light on at night in the goat barn would affect the goats heat cycle? The does are nubian.

I don't have an answer about light affecting a does cycle.

I wonder, if the lack of darkness, would disturb their sleep cycles and, if, like humans, it will affect their health ie., immunologically?

Hi Anj;  
Why were you thinking of giving the goats a night light?    Other than a heat lamp for baby chicks I've not heard of a need to do this?
A motion activated light outside their room might deter predators, or goat nappers!

I was just wondering what effect it had if any. There was a small solar light in the barn that was there before we put them in and I just never really thought about it until now.
 
What I don't understand is how they changed the earth's orbit to fit the metric calendar. Tiny ad:
