Hello! I've been a user of the site for some time but just singed up and new to the forum, and also just created a pod-cast, Journey into Permaculture. I want to embed it within the 'blatantly advertising section' and talk more about the show, but I'm having trouble embedding it into the post. I have unchecked the 'disable HTML in this message' box, so the code should be recognized.

This is the html embed code I'm using provided by captivate to embed in websites:

<div style="width: 100%; height: 600px; margin-bottom: 20px; border-radius: 10px; overflow: hidden;"><iframe style="width: 100%; height: 600px;" frameborder="no" scrolling="no" seamless src="https://player.captivate.fm/show/76e8fcc0-2465-4f98-808a-6101df8cec2b"></iframe></div>

I put the 'code' and '/code' with brackets on each end of above code and it still isn't popping up right in my post. I'm missing something - but i'm not sure what it is. If someone could help me, you would be totally awesome and I would greatly appreciate! I hope my pod-cast advertising and discussions will be a meaningful contribution to the forum.

If it helps, this podcast uses buzz sprout and embedded just fine: The Building a Better World Podcast with Shawn Klassen-Koop

Allowing users to embed iframes is … risky to say the least. Just linking the website should work?

Using links can work, I liked what the podcast looked like on the example successful podcast embed that was linked in the initial post in this thread, and thought other users would appreciate not having to leave the site to interact and listen to my podcast. I understand the 'Building a Better World Podcast" that is embedded into the site is affiliated with Paul Wheaton, so they may have more permissions than I would and 'trusted' over allowing everyone to do the same.

Well. I don't know how Shawn is embedding the better world podcast. I bet there is a [secret code] only usable by staff.

I'm sure that are a bunch of secret powers unknown to users! Thanks for your help on this, and clarifying a potential security hole if users could embed iframe on the site. Looking forward to contributing to the forum with my experiences, moving forward.
