I'm excited about this stuff and really want to give it a shot!

I'm thinking chopped apples, currants, and brown sugar-brandy syrup with a bit of lime...

Ah yes, pudding is great, weather it is a sticky toffee, a Christmas,  a Sussex pond, jam rolly polly or the ubiquitous spotted dick, even a clootie dumpling! Or of course steak and kidney! Can't leave out the savory options too. If you want to save time on the sweet ones a microwave cooks them just as well and in 30 minutes rather than 3 hours.

I love this guys channel by the way he has some excellent videos most are food based but there's also a good few on other things like making a dugout cannoe, building a pizza oven, and even making oilcloth.
Some of his "old" recipes are quite amusing as we still cook them in England.

My kids love the tounsends stuff!

We've tried some things like "Scotch Eggs" where it's like, "well, that's... interesting" and moved on.

Our most often used recipe is the Carolina Snowball (second one)

Followed by their beer-batter fritters with apple.

Both are insanely simple and delish!
