I planted 2 heartnuts and two butternuts this spring. I already had 4 English Walnuts. I also have two that that could be either black or English.  One of the heart nuts may be dead, but it’s too soon to be sure. If I don’t replace it, will the other nuts pollinate a lone heart nut? I’ve seen the buartnut hybrids, so there must be some cross pollination but maybe not enough?
