I was posting on the 'What are you planting in your zombie apocalypse-herb garden' with some others and a couple were also having a tough time getting lavender to germinate.  I came across this post, and wanted to share it.  The other post was a great post and I didn't want to hijack it, so posted a new topic.  I hope the others find it.  I watched this and knew what I didn't do and will do next year.

Jen, this interests me, what other topic, do you have a link? Tricky sometimes to hi-jack, but it can also revive it!
I tried lavender from seeds, four are growing, one is really happy. Trying to raise a forest of lavender. This one will have viable seed i hope. My other lavenders didn't!
