Thirsty Thursday, we irrigated all the new trees we recently planted as well as the Hugelkulture berms in Allerton Abbey and Bascamp. Some mulch on the new GAMCOD as well as last years.

Anyone recognize this plant? I forgot to ask Stephen.

And more flowers! Because why not?!

Staying busy there's not enough time in each day to do all the things I want to do.
Here are more pics from the weekend and today.
Feeling grateful.
Made my 1st trellis for the new seedless grapevine.
More flowers!
Junk post replacement.

Another junk pole fence section repaired. More flowers. Not bad for a "Chairy popper!"

For game night we played penny ante poker. I play a bit more seriously back home but this was still fun. Learned some new versions of 7card stud.

It's warming up and thirsty Thursday means irrigation! Lots of new trees like willows, hazelbert, and the spiderwolf apple. Spot or target watering is a bit more attention focused, while most of the berms just have sunchokes, walking onions, iris, comfrey, and some other wild ground cover... we aren't soaking the entire gardens yet. Hopefully the last frost came early this year. Today we planted the 1st seedlings of spinach, rutabaga, and lovage in the new GAMCOD. I'm considering building another GAMCOD but the space is limited behind the junkpole fencing.
2nd attempt at bone sauce underway. (Video footage coming later).
My wild flowers are sprouting in the solarium.
Garlic is loving the greenhouse as well as a few other happy plants. Approaching the end of week 3 and it's been some amazing progress.

Forgot to post yesterday's perspective.
Harvested some Oyster mushroom and sautéed over some (Stephen's) pasta, i also added parmesan cheese!
Planted potatoes!
And to keep my electrolytes topped off I've been leaning on this "Snake Juice."

Missoula Farmers Market started today. I was late to the game and i didn't take any photos. Maybe next week I'll go earlier.

Might be freezing outside tonight, but not in the solarium!

Kitties having kitties.

Sauna gets up to about 110 deg F in 25 mins.

And more flowers!

May the 4th be with you!
