BEL #29
Week 9
Full moon vibes.
Overall I am still very grateful for this adventure. The lack of Bel postings from me has mostly been a correlation of failure to remember to take pictures and lack of desire to sit down in front of my phone/laptop(which I've turned on once). Other boots are posting lovely articulate writings of experience that are authentic and valuable as shared experiences. I like reading them occasionally. Again, rather not have a screen in my face.
I was explaining my personal situation to another boot today and it occurred to me that we have such drastically different experiences out here, even though we mostly...
1. Irrigate
2. Chop and drop
3. Planting
The projects are what seem more interesting. They get started, amended, and completed if reasonable. Some of these "projects" are so involved and long term that there's no finished product (yet) so there is a disconnect from the daily accomplishment. "Whinny sounds" lmao
She said it sound like I was complaining, and I was mostly talking about what I've been dealing with at Cooper Cabin. I'll spare you the details. I appreciate her honesty and her patience. We had a positive impact on each other this afternoon.
I then realized I had done this to myself. And im glad I did, because I was reaching a space of comfortable routine, but I know that getting out of my comfort zone is how I grow and learn more.
Today I attacked the 9bark near the leach field. Its hard chop and drop(drop being 100 yards away amd woody canes).
I also watered
alot at Basecamp and the Lab.
There are a dozen things I wanted to do that I didn't have time for.
We moved the kiddie pool and set up the classroom for future use.
I ate onion shoots when they called my name. Found some sweet patches(lack of sun is key, thanks Paul).
Im thinking of starting other threads....
Flowers.
Things I like to eat raw.
Cooper Cabin .
Water and Fire.
