I think I've found my spirit animal.
This guy is replanting the dying strip of land previously underneath the collapsed double decker Oakland Freeway.
Even in Canada this tragedy was all over the news in 1989.

And attention Paul! This man also loves the entirety of the English (and latin) language. Those with sensitive minds be warned... Dude swears a lot. And it's hilarious.

Pretty good the way he goes from profanity to Botanical/Scientific terms in one mouthful! I like that he stressed about using plants suited to the ecosystem and not known to be invasive in the system. Many of the trees he planted will out live him!
