Welcome to permies Denise!

It looks a lot like fireblight, which is really bad around my area.

What variety is it?

Thank you Steve- it is a bunch of varieties all grafted together- gala, yellow delicious, winesap. I thought it would be great for the kids bc I’m showing them how to grow our own food but this I’ve never seen before. We are in Ontario near Toronto.
I will look up fire blight and see what to do about it.
