Baker creek heirloom seed company will for 24 hours on June 10, 2020, donate all proceeds to individuals, organizations, and businesses who work every day to preserve heirloom varieties. A really nice guy I know is a part of this program! (click the link below and look closely! hint: he contributes here on Permies!)

From their website: https://www.rareseeds.com/support-farmers-and-seed-savers

ALL PROCEEDS FROM PURCHASES JUNE 10TH SUPPORT FARMERS AND FOOD CHARITIES

Baker Creek partners with many individuals, organizations, and businesses who work every day to preserve heirloom varieties, bring healthy food to their communities, and help those in need. During these trying times many of our partners have taken a direct financial hit while continuing to support the communities around them. Over the next 24 hours (JUNE 10) the profits from all sales each hour will be donated to a different organization or business in need.

Did you see Joseph Lofthouse is in the mix? He has the time slot from 5-6pm. The way I understand it is he gets all proceeds from that hour of sales. Setting my alarm so I don’t miss it!

Thanks for posting this. My time slot is 5 PM to 6 PM Central Standard Time. I'm sure grateful to Baker Creek, and Jere Gettle for the ongoing support and wisdom. The Heirloom Seed Expo that they invited me to speak at last September continues to inspire me, and informs how I do my work.

The barrel was packed to the top with fish. And he was shooting the fish. This tiny ad stopped him:
