Hi everyone, I am in Hector NY, about 30 mins from Ithaca/Cornell. Is anyone still practicing permaculture in this area? I'm still relatively new and still looking for community
Be well,
Maria
I'm a little south of Albany, not near where you are, but I 2nd Edible Acres and there is the Finger Lake Permacutlure institute:

Akiva Silver is closer to PA I think, but his Twisted Tree Farm has a lot of good info
I am just south of Syracuse, about a 40 minute drive from Ithaca. We have a 60 acre farm which has been a permacultureproject in the works for about 5 years. The struggle has been finding people with an interest in permaculture to get involved. Although it's 40 minutes from you, there are places to stay at the farm for weekends or whatever. Love to hear from you, if you have any interest in checking it out or if you'd just like more info.
60 acres, southern hills of upstate NY, zone 5 forest farm.
