Hi everyone, I am in Hector NY, about 30 mins from Ithaca/Cornell. Is anyone still practicing permaculture in this area? I'm still relatively new and still looking for community
Be well,
Maria

Sean at Edible Acres on Youtube is in the Fingerlakes area (I think).  He posts on here sometimes as well.

Akiva Silver is closer to PA I think, but his Twisted Tree Farm has a lot of good info

I am just south of Syracuse, about a 40 minute drive from Ithaca.  We have a 60 acre farm which has been a permaculture project in the works for about 5 years.  The struggle has been finding people with an interest in permaculture to get involved.   Although it's 40 minutes from you,  there are places to stay at the farm for weekends or whatever.   Love to hear from you, if you have any interest in checking it out or if you'd just like more info.

Forest gardener here between Ithaca and Syracuse.

Anyone interested in urban ag in CNY, I recommend connecting with the Alchemical Nursery Project in Syracuse.

Anything worth doing well is worth doing poorly first. Just look at this tiny ad:
