Hi  I just lived with a friend in Cashmere, WA for 6 weeks and like that area. I am based on the wet West side currently and prefer to relocate to the dry sunny side. I prefer a more relaxed slower pace of life than the West side. And creativity rather than chasing the dollar. I’d like to get together with folks who are doing Permaculture, solar, natural building, organic farming, river rafting, wildcrafting, herbs, etc in the area. My friend lives downtown and I prefer rural environments. I love designing things and build solar energy and wood heating systems. Designing Permaculture is great. Would love to be part of a design team. I also do property caretaking as a option. I have a Motorhome and a bus. Ive been looking for a land steward position with emphasis on Permaculture and conservation. I have studied environmental conservation and Permaculture for over 30 years and still learning. Please PM me. Thanks

Hi, I know your post is pretty old by now but I figured I’d ask if you found a situation that works? I just moved to the Entiat area and have a lot of projects ahead and help would be nice if it was a good fit.

Thanks,
Tessa

HI Tessa,
Welcome to Permies. Are you new or have you been reading posts for a while? What are your project priorities this year?
I have been checking out New Mexico but plan on being back to Washington by Summer. I was on a big fire up the Entiat and have hiked extensively in that region. Are you near town or up valley? I’m always searching for cool projects and people.
Thanks,
Jeremy
