Mushroom Mycelium makes sustainable leather and furniture. This would make an interesting topic for a thread or topic to teach.

Cool concept! Does anyone know if this can be done without toxic chemicals at a "back-yard" or "community-based" production basis?

I wonder if Paul Stamets has done any research in the area. He's done research on mushrooms for bio-remediation. And he wears a mushroom hat at times.
