Of
course much depends on the original cost of the boot/shoe and the condition the upper is in. I have used both shoe glue and epoxy with mixed results. Do make certain the
boot is stuffed with newspapers/rags to help it maintain its shape while drying. Maher sure the sole is clamped/under a weight while drying. Allow 2x the suggested time for drying.
Any more I buy higher quality boots. It pays in the long run. I only glue in an emergency situation. Otherwise, they go to a pro for the repairs.
