grand opportunity I'm offering for an honest person that is either skilled or willing to learn. 50 acre organic homestead developing chestnut orchard with plenty of gardening spaces, with tools and equipment and lots of mature hardwood forest including wild ginseng. large woodworking shop with nearly endless supply of mostly red cedar lumber, there used to be a sawmill here, as well as metal working, electrical and mechanical capabilities. there is a 35' rv camper that is vacant or you can build a tree house or whatever out in the forest. lots of weed cutting and general maintainace work need to be done as about 500 chestnut trees are approaching age and size to start producing an annual crop.
looking for interested person or people who are trustworthy enough to be bonded would be nice. Room and board and money making opportunities, the wood shop is where previous owner made living building cedar chests and other cedar wood objects.
located on what I call the edge of the smokies in East Tennessee. there is on grid power and as my previous neighbor would say, were on the edge of the grid having spotty phone and cell service and satellite internet. this is a fairly rural area with a 40,000 population city about 30 miles away and a smaller town about 18 miles away.

I explored that area a little bit. It’s nice. If I was to live anywhere “back East” it would around there. Sounds like a good opportunity.

I’m interested if you are still looking for someone.
Alternately, I have another opportunity near Rogersville, but to accept it, I’ll need to find some income sources for basics beyond food and shelter. So if you’re nearby and need a hand in exchange for some cash (or metal), I’m also open to that. Send me a purple moosage and I’ll give you my regular contact info.
Thanks!
