Are you hoping to get away this winter and need someone to look after your land with love?
I have been farming for 8 years and am now planning to leave the craziness of the SF Bay Area. I would like to make myself available as a responsible and knowledgeable farm/homestead sitter/caretaker this winter. I would like to be able to use some of the skills I have built for years, have a tranquil place to be in transition, and give you peace of mind while you are away. (I always had a trusted caretaker who gave me freedom to leave when I was a farm manager and I'd like to do the same for someone else.) I am available starting in the very end of December or early January 2021 onward. I will be traveling down to southern California so I am ideally looking in this region but I am open to other possibilities around California. I love to care for plants and animals and am looking for a way to get back to this work, but haven't found the path yet with land access being so expensive in this state. So yes, I am looking to buy some time to figure this out. I have worked on farms, ranches and gardens in Portugal, California, Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and cared for dogs, cats, cows, chickens, rabbits, goats, monkeys etc. I am a 33 year old artist who had been farming for years and is now in transition and looking for where I would like to live for the next chapter of my life. You can check out my website www.brittanyeaton.com to become a little familiar with who I am and send me a message with your timeframe/expectations if I could be of service to you. Thank you for reading ! -B

Are you wanting/needing to stay in California? If you would consider Colorado, we should talk about the opportunities available here.

Thanks
- DH
