I have a foamer soap dispenser that was left here 2yrs ago, by the previous owners. It was a cheap, dollar store bottle of hand soap, but I have refilled it with my homemade foaming dish soap, ever since we first emptied it. As time has gone on, it's become more difficult to push the pump down, and now barely works, at all. I went online to quite a few places, and all the ones that fit Mason jars come with mixed reviews, mostly grumbling about the very problem I'm having. Does anyone know how to fix these things? It seems like it should be pretty simple, and my first efforts will be in de-goo-ifying the innards. I suspect that will go a long way toward getting it working again - but I'm not sure it will give me great results,  but probably just enough to limp along a few more days, until a better option presents itself. I really love the foamer, though...

I've got this promising looking instructable bookmarked, but haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

Thank you!

He is really smart. And a dolphin. It makes sense his invention would bring in thousands of fish.
