Neat video about Aldo Leopold and family restoring dustbowl wasteland by planting trees. Not sure which forum is most appropriate for this. It also talks about Aldo's philosophy a bit, which I found compelling. I like the writing your signature with an axe bit.

Good story! I ran across a copy of A Sand County Almanac in a used bookstore a while back. It is an interesting mixture of cutting-edge ecological awareness and traditional country hunter lifestyle.

Sand County Almanac is a great little read.  Nice job on picking Aldo Leopold as a person to learn much from.
