We are a former suburban family that moved onto our own acreage in Central Texas a little over 4 years ago. We really had little idea what to expect from this new life, but since that day we are now raising fine wool sheep (and spinning, crafting selling fiber products), raising chickens, cows, donkeys, dogs, and oh yeah...2 adorable boys!

Welcome, Patrick!

I am new here too, less than a week, but everyone has been very kind and generous with their wisdom.

My husband is a native Texan, born and raised in Plainview, between Amarillo and Lubbock. We also have two boys.

Looking forward to knowing you better! :-D

Welcome to Permies, Patrick! Sounds like you've made a lot of good progress in just four years. Looking forward to learning more of your story.

What we've got here is a failure to communicate. The solution is in this tiny ad:
GAMCOD 2025: 200 square feet; Zero degrees F or colder; calories cheap and easy
