Manitoulin Island Ontario, Canada Looking for friends + maybe landmates

Anyone in the Northern Canada region? I'm looking for permie friends as I'm moving with my two little ones to a secluded island plot. Not sure about romance right now lol, but would love some people to vibe with, and maybe even some people to move onto the land with me, even if temporarily.

i almost bought a property on the north end of the island where it is unorganized township

it was an amazing property but a bit out of my price range
75 acres on a nice sized lake.. not too far from the hwy

keep an eye out for fossils if you visit any of the beaches
beautiful area!

nice! i ended up buying near kirkland lake
i stop at a spot along the drive near temiskaming and hunt for fossils
i got permission to go into a quarry during off hours a bit north of there as well..

Ooh my! Kandace! I'm out in Wiikwemkoong, on the east end of the island building an earthship, and teaching and about rocket mass heaters, and permaculture! We should definitely hang out! ❤️😊
