Lorenzo Costa wrote:Hi Ed Sitko, I sent my support ticket months ago too. From what I know Geoff has asnwered to some requests but not to all. I don't think it is because of lack of interest but for the fact he was away for months, and probably had a lot to deal with. I was thinking if writing back now. I know he is back in Autralia at Zaytuna.
Let's try sending another request or an email directly to him.
I'll let you know if he answers to me.

Lorenzo, So do share the timely response you received.

Reading through these comments, I have to say, it gives me hope that I would really enjoy an online PDC someday.

I guess my thing is, if I can be there, somehow, some way, then I definitely would prefer to take one in person. One thing I've learned from workshops and learning experiences in this field is that it's such a spirit building exercise, working with other people, learning about permaculture, it's just damned inspiring.

Not that an online course can't give some folks the same feeling, but I don't know, for me that's a lot of the draw. I can be really cynical at times, and experiences like this help to bolster my optimism that we can in fact build a better world. I just love meeting people from all walks of life at these sorts of things, sweating and toiling under the sun with them, and learning incredibly new skills to help us be better stewards of the earth.

I think if I have the money for an online PDC, I'd probably save up until I had enough for an in person PDC instead. Although, there's this one coming up this summer at the Lab that I definitely won't be able to attend, and I have to say, I am kind of crossing my fingers that they put together something digital so I can feel a bit included

permaculture is largely about replacing oil with people. And one tiny ad:
