Good, it's in permaculture.  It would, therefore, be too much to put it in homesteading, gardening or selfsufficiency.

todayilearned is different.  People seeing it there probably won't also see it in todayilearned.  And, chances are that it will never get to the top of todayilearned.

howto could be good.  "how to bring a creek back to a dry gully":  maybe submit https://permies.com/bb/index.php?topic=3416.msg63313#msg63313 after it has been run through something like tinyurl.com

If it shows up in those three, that's plenty.

It seems what the stalker is looking for, is this:  when you post something that has been posted before on reddit, it shows up that there are more discussions on the topic.

redditors don't like that.

so i suggest we simply wait a week or so, until almost everyone on r/permaculture has seen it, Then whoever put it up, take it down, and someone else post it in another subreddit. or perhaps that will happen when a new video comes out, so that it's a cycle sort of situation? whadaya think?

also, from a money making point of view, if you can make it more profitable for it to be seen, perhaps you can pay to have it advertised on a website like reddit.

that is... IF you can make it profitable to do so....

What redditors like or don't like varries widely.  While it is true that there are a few redditors that will downvote just because they see something more than once, my experience shows that it is a small minority.

What i would try to do is to get something new to appear in three subreddits.  And I would try to make sure that the three were different enough that the odds were good that most folks would see it once.  The reason is that within a couple of hours, one would do well, the other two would do so-so.  Usually one would go to something like 100 points and the other two would get to around 15 or so.  Good enough!

As for advertising on reddit - I've already done that.  Redditors appear to be trained to ignore the stuff in the advertising box.

As for what the stalker is looking for:  clearly the stalker is unbalanced.  The stalker attacks stuff that has exactly one post ever.  Even stuff that is a reddit discussion - so no links to my stuff outside of reddit.  While many people choose to have their decisions influenced by crazy people, I am not one of them.

If somebody could upload my latest video to reddit, that would be great.

i have a suggestion on your videos.

the one way to help a youtube video is to watch it all the way through.... but the end, when you sign off with the permies.com situation, it lingers much longer than i want to watch.  in any video but yours i would've clicked away by then....

i'm not saying don't say "if you like..."    but i'm saying it might boost the "all the way throught" views if it were shorter.

then... i don't really know how that works with youtube, if 5 or 10 seconds counts...
