We are in the process of finalizing a purchase of a small homestead in CNY where we plan on building our self sufficient homestead. We plan on raising all of our own food and have experience running a farm many years ago. We were born and raised in CNY and left NY for a myriad of reasons. For us, now is the time for to return “home” and take care of our elderly parents while also getting out of the rat race big city living gets you trapped in.
