Hi to all,
Granted we are in the middle of Summer, but I just recieved a fig cutting from a friend's tree and I'd like to try to establish roots on it. I've heard of honey and aloe juice as root stimulants but I'd like to try using Willow, as there is an available donor tree not far from here. This is a green fig cutting, not a woody one. What's the optimal method? Make short cuttings of the willow and steep it like a sun tea? Or perhaps even take an equal sized willow cutting and stick it permanently as a companion plant in with the vase with the fig? Any direction most helpful. Thanks...M
