I think an interesting long term apple poll would be:

"What do you feel that you need (or even want) most at this point in your permaculture journey in order for things to really take off for you?"

A list would include things like:

INFORMATIONAL:
  • Regional inspiration about permaculture successes (like demonstration sites) / Show me that it works beautifully in my area, and then we'll talk!
  • Practical knowledge and techniques to solve specific problem sets on my site

  • EXPERIENTIAL:
  • Hands on experience and workshops to better learn cool stuff
  • Temporary land access to prototype what I've learned so far in order to prepare for the bigger things
  • Long term or permanent land access

  • TANGIBILE:
  • I'm just focused on the basics right now: wholesome food, safe housing, employment, and the like!
  • Umm...more coin, ₽£€A$€
  • Niche living resources: plants, seeds, and animal stock sources
  • Tools, gear, structures, equipment or other stuff

  • PROFESSIONAL:
  • More permaculture designers and professionals to talk or walk me through big project ideas for my site
  • Specific legal or technical expertise to appease the department of sadness in my area
  • A solid market for my permie products, expertise, and services
  • Proteges, minions, employees, or trustworthy individuals

  • RELATIONAL:
  • A close friend for mutual encouragement
  • A wise and helpful mentor
  • Community (Low-sugar, half-caffeinated) -- Other weirdos nearby to occasionally do awesome stuff with
  • Community: (Extra strength) -- Committed and awesome individuals to live, love, and work with

I suppose more ideas for passive income would go in the "More coin please" category? Affiliate links may be fine for someone who has a website that gets visitation, but I don't see as we can all do that.
