Montana Fire Pictures

Hi all;
As you all know, the west is covered in forest fires this year.
The Thorn creek fire  in extreme NW Montana started about 15 miles from here.
A modest smaller fire has now grown to over 23,000 acres!
It is moving east farther from me but is now closing on the town of Thompson Falls.
Air quality in town has been in the extreme danger zone off and on for days now... it is not pleasant.
It currently is the most expensive fire in Montana. With numerous air support , National Guard , Hot shot crews  from around the country, DNRC crews and regular forest service personnel.

stay safe Thomas , I still have vivid memory of being surrounded by out of control forest fire many years ago that I just barely escaped from. they can be seriously unpredictable.
