YES, I would like to know this too.
I'm enjoying my current bread maker, but I worry when (because it's when, not if) the pan gets scratched, the pan feels like it's aluminium.
Right now I'm using a very soft silicone spatula for any scraping like prying out the bread or cleaning.
Experience says fingernails are too hard and can scratch these pans.
I would much rather have a stainless steel one.
