Just found this intro forum. I am 63 retired handyman (widower) who has been container gardening for about 5-6 years. Just recently found a source of goat fertilizer from free range goats. Have been attempting organic methods and have limited space.

Have made contact with 2 groups of people who are looking to move off-grid. One group has acreage available NE of Dallas, TX and the other group is looking for land just east of Dallas. The NE group has a lot of acreage in old trees and the owner has been mono-cropping lower acreages. Need to get him focused on permaculture. The other group is looking at blackland prairie with few if any trees.
