In parts of Canada, they have laws limiting the days and times when they can play holiday music in shops.  Apparently, it's a human rights violation to subject people to the same 40 songs over and over again at work.

And alas, when I worked in a shop, I was working in the kids' section where we had the same 6 songs year 'round.  I loved December when we got 40 songs.
