Permaculture Community in the North of Portugal

Hi everyone,
We are currently implementing a permaculture project in the north of Portugal.
We would love build a community around the area and are looking for people who might have genuine interest.
I am Portuguese and well connected in the area and could help with some of the starting challenges for foreigners like;
Finding a property - Permaculture designer- Architects - Local workers- etc


The area is between Viseu and Aveiro. 1H from Porto airport and 35 min from the beautiful beaches of Aveiro.

Hi Vasco, hope your project is going well and that you've already found some allies to start your community! What are you planting this year? Would love to hear more about your project, I visited Viseu and Aveiro (and more places all the way down to the Algarve) in October/November last year in search of exactly this kind of community - independent but like-minded initiatives in permaculture and ecosystem regeneration.

I'm buying a small terraced vinyard and house just outside Mesao Frio (Santa Cristina), so about an hour and a half from your place.
I'm planning to learn how to do water retention engineering, diversify the plants, and transition the house to solar energy. I'm just learning Portuguese and would love any contacts and local advice for these kinds of projects. Thanks! Sarah
