This is my first: permies greenhouse 1 post

I think I'm going to use it as a nursery/potting shed from now on. I have not had amazing results with it. I do think having a clear roof would likely help. I just don't know that it gets enough sun.

My father in law built a greenhouse this year and it grew things like absolute bonkers. Mind blowing. So I'm going to copy his build. I feel confident it won't blow away, because his hasn't. It survived hail. I think it'll work. So, this will be my build it thread. I think it'll be easier to build as soon as I get the posts set. It's basically post frame with sheeting on it. Easy.

I love this!
It can be hard to start over, but it's often the smart thing to do.

Ok, nevermind. While out in my in laws greenhouse measuring and planning I noticed a bunch of holes in the roof. The hail did damage the plastic. However, they had two different kinds of  plastic roof, one of the varieties doesn't have holes. So I'm going to wait another year and see if the hail damages the second variety of plastic. If it doesn't I'll build next year.

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Is this a tiny ad?
