Hi all,
I'm a Dutch lady who is in the process of throwing her life around, and seeking a loving partner to share and realise dreams with.
The last years I changed my well-paid, academic office job for work at an organic farm. Which was a great move. And now I'm changing that for work at a social
permaculture start-up near my
city. I changed my technologically connected life with smartphone and home internet to a quieter life with just an old Nokia. I'm changing my little city garden from a place filled with tiles to a place filled with all sorts of plants. I filled my bookshelves with practical
books about all this, my kitchen with whole foods and my house with a few smaller DIY-projects. But I'm ready for more.
I want to relocate to a different country, where we really have the
freedom and nature to live the life I wish for us. I'm open to all sorts of places, ideas and people, as long as we share our basic values and a loving attitude. I'm not very experienced, but I'm happy to learn and use my hands to build and grow things.
I take with me myself - introvert, honest, creative, idealistic, gentle, slightly chaotic. And also my young teen son - sensitive, organised, calm, kind-hearted, animal-lover. He is just ending his primary school years. Together we enjoy being outdoors in all sorts of ways, playing board
games, making fires, philosophical chats. We are trying out things like
wood work or children's
art. With my friends I like a good laugh or just being together. I did dancing and rock climbing. I like creative writing and learning about different languages and cultures. My belief in God is important to me.
I would really hope to find someone (or perhaps a community) to connect to. Someone to share a simple life with centred around family, community and nature.
I don't have a photo here, but this is what I look like today: darkblonde long hair, blue eyes, light skin. A bit curvy, but healthy weight. Feminine, young, gentle appearance, or so they say. Barefoot, simple pants and blue shirt, no make-up. My friend promised to take a few nice pictures when we meet next time, so if you are patient I will send them.
Hope to meet a nice guy (I'm 40, so somewhere between 30 and 50 or so would
be nice) or people/a community to connect to. My family and friends are not into the changes I'm making, so I'm really hoping to invite people into my life who share these kind of ideals, whether nearby or faraway.
