Due to needing different education options for our children we have decided to sell our beloved homestead. We love permaculture and have worked for 10 years building up a food forest on our 5 acres. There are pecans trees, hazelnuts, Japanese walnuts, apples, pears, peaches, plums, cherries, mulberries, elderberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, black raspberries, strawberries, grapes, hardy kiwi, rhubarb, and horseradish. Perennial  herbs include lavender, sage, winter savory, english thyme, mother of thyme, chamomile, germander, echinacea, rosemary, oregano and marjoram. Dill, parsley and cilantro reseed themselves every year. There are also many beautiful perennial shrubs and bulb flowers that bloom year after year. We have rain barrels that we empty into a storage tank that we use to water. We have composted and added lots of manure to the garden area every year and the soil has gone from red clay to rich brown fertile soil. The house is 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and is 3196 square feet and features beautiful wood finishes that came from wood on the property.  The custom wood floors are a mix of oak and maple and there are cedar ceilings and other accents. There is a generator and a 500 gal underground gas tank as well as a wood stove.  There is a finished guest house that is 790 square feet and has a bath with a shower. It would make a great income producing vacation rental. There is a chicken coop and a 1500 square foot professional woodshop with electricity. Please check out our listing.
