A tree or plant that produces resin similat to epoxy?

Hi, im in the rain forest in peru, and i heard the story that natives peoples know a plant that produces a resin that is similar than epoxy.  Im still trying to know the  name of this plants, but no luck.

Do anybody know about tbis? Is there is a plant that produces resin similar to epoxy?

Do you know about plants of proyects involving the use of sap from tree for 3d printing?

Any hint would be appreciates

Could it be Gutta-percha? The resin used to be quite widely used and is still used for dental repairs I believe.
